Information for Visitors
Enchanted Grounds Coffeehouse and Gameporium is a special place and much more than a coffeehouse. The Gameporium is both a place to play games and also a retail games sales store. All located in one large area, this location offers lots of room and opportunities to enjoy the Open Mic with your kids and friends who like table top miniatures, Magic and other non-electronic gaming.
Information for Performers
- This is a venue with children present, No obscenities will be tolerated.
- The PA system is new, and it is SWEET. Hosts will make all attempts at getting a great sound. We pride ourselve on the best sounding Open Mic in Denver area. We attend the sound board continually to optimize the house sound for all attendees.
- Music starts at 7:30pm, performers who attend can sign-up at 7:00pm or later. Performers need to appear and sign-up, no advance reservations will be taken.
- Format will be situational based on the number performers attending. The starting assumption is that each perform will have 3 songs. On slow evenings, performers who stay past the final act, may be able to perform again.
- 3 vocal microphones and 3 instrument cables should be assumed.
- Floor monitors for performers are large and very effective. Hosts will ensure you can hear yourself and your partners while performing.
- Electric Bass Players should bring their own amp (small please). Contact hosts if you have active DI boxes designed for Electric Bass signals.
- NO drum kits, hand drums only, contact hosts with questions.
- We do not have a tape or CD Player going into the PA system. Hosts will not support recording from the PA.
- This is not a Karaoke event, we expect performers to perform acapella, or make their own sounds.
- This is not an Open Comedy event, contact the hosts if you want to perform comedy, but this is primarily a music event.
- Electric guitars must plug into the PA using a supplied DI box. The sound is a really good clean electric sound. Effects Pedals can be used between the guitar and the DI(Direct Interface) box.
- We have plenty of power options(strip) and cables of all kind, typical performers just bring their guitar or keyboard and plug-in.
- No Electric Guitar Amps, the host will typically have on location a Fender Blues Junior electric guitar amplifier. This is an option for performers but please discuss with the hosts when you arrive.
- Piano Players will need to bring their own piano, contact hosts please first.
- We will be able to mic an instrument if it has no electronics.
- We move quickly from performer to performer. You can setup, tune, and prepare for the performance from the rear of of the store and rear of the stage area.
Contact the hosts regarding additional or special needs. We will try to accommodate all who show up to play, but the hosts make all decisions about the lineup and duration for performances.
